Successful fundraising dinner at the Royal Scots Club
22 November 2014
More than 50 guests, including Dr Joseph J Morrow, Lord Lyon King of Arms in Scotland, enjoyed the annual fundraising dinner in Edinburgh.
Over £1500 was raised for the nominated charity, Macmillan Cancer Support and their representative provided the guests with an enlightening insight into the work of the charity across Scotland.
Dr Morrow was presented with the St Lazarus Order of Merit, the KMLJ, by Grand Baillie John Kelly.
In memory of the centenary of the beginning of World War One, Col Martin Passmore CLJ led a group of young Air Cadets from Newcastle upon Tyne, and a group of musicians and singers in a tribute in words, song and music to those who fought and those who remained at home.
